The summer session of the Study Group will allow members to explore their own neighbourhoods or investigate new areas. Have you ever wondered about the origins of that building you pass ever day? Have you noticed a building that you hadn't spotted before and are intrigued about its history?
Join the Study Group and while away some spare time in research on a topic, suggested by the coordinators, or you may suggest a building of your own choice be it a hospital, such as the Tung Wah, Matilda, or HK Sanatorium; Chinese heritage such as Chi Lin Nunnery, Luk Yu Teahouse; an educational establishment such as St. Paul's, Diocesan Boys' School, KGV, Lingnan College; or buildings from colonial times such as Legco, Flagstaff House or even our own Helena May building.
