The Helena May raises money for a dedicated charity through various fundraising activities organized throughout the year such as bridge teas, bazaar, Christmas lunch and etc. The following is a sample of charities we have helped in recent years: Sister of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chee Sing Kok Social Centre of the Humanity Love Home of Loving Faithfulness Society of Community Organization Bethune House Current Charity of the Year - Harmony House Harmony House is a charitable organisation established in 1985 as the first shelter providing temporary refuge for abused women and their children in Hong Kong. Today, their major services include a shelter for battered women and children, aftercare services, a 24-hour woman hotline, community education programs, crisis intervention, children and youth services, women’s empowerment program and batters’ intervention program. Their services have reached out to thousands of women, children and needy families in the community.
