MEMBER ACTIVITIES

The Helena May offers its members one of the most varied and interesting programmes of social and cultural activities among clubs in Hong Kong.  Covering a wide variety of topics from history, art, literature, culture, architecture to health and beauty, crafts and personal growth, the Club caters to the diverse interests and recreational needs of its members. Some of the most popular and much sought-after events include workshops at the Club and outdoor visits to unique places of cultural, historical and social relevance. The Club activities are also a unique opportunity for members to meet and interact with like-minded people and make new friends who share similar interests.

  • International Women’s Day Lunch with a renowned speaker
  • Gala Event
  • Christmas Lunch
  • Social events such as Dinner Theatre, Wine Tasting evenings, and Networking Cocktail events on a regular basis.
  • Regular Social Activities – Outdoor visits and activities at places of social, cultural and historical importance, Workshops, Interactive Talks with keynote speakers and eminent personalities
  • Year-round workshops and dinner talks on diverse topics from wellness to history to culture
  • Children’s activities – 3 to 4 thematic parties annually, Saturday morning activity specials and Summer Reading rewards programs
  • Weekly Fitness Classes - Yoga for Beginners and Qigong & Wild Goose Movements

  • Bridge Every Tuesday 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
  • Mah-jong Every Monday 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
  • History Group 2:15 pm – 4:15 pm (Every second Tuesday)
  • Book Club - Group I - Last Tuesday of each month 12:30 pm – 2 pm
  • Book Club - Group II - Last Friday of each month 10:30 am – 12 noon
  • Family Book Club – Third Friday of each month 6 pm – 8 pm
  • Crafts Group Every Thursday 10:30 am – 3:30 pm
